UNDERCURRENTART is Jason Whitley’s online portfolio.
An award-winning artist and illustrator, Jason’s list of interactive work is growing fast. He developed The Charlotte Observer’s Phuzzle and is eye-deep developing the children’s music website, Kidzter. He’s also working on a Sea Urchins graphic novel and developing web applications for UNC-Chapel Hill.
Jason’s illustration and comics credits run the gamut, from The Washington Post to Allen K’s Inhuman and Desperado Publishing’s Negative Burn. He’s the co-creator with James Chambers of fan-favorite The Midnight Hour and, with Scott Eckelaert, is the creator of the critically-acclaimed Sea Urchins comic strip.
His paintings are exhibited across the southeast.
