Sherfew

Sherfew is the smartest crewmember of the Banana Moon and also the most philosophical. He looks out for his older brother and tries to keep peace in the family. He has a monstrous appetite for anything edible that has so far kept the family in many a port refilling the cupboards. After drinking a potion that gave him temporary gills, Sherfew was able to keep the family boat afloat with a load of sunken treasure. Always quick with a comeback and curious to a fault, Sherfew has led the family to more than one daring adventure.

Ella
The older of the two girls, she's the baby of the family and knows it. Ella patterns herself after Ali and likes everything Darla doesn't. She's more relaxed, more feminine, and instantly likes anything Darla hates (dolls, pretty hats, flowers, etc.)

Cuss
At first glance, you might think Cuss looks and is an idiot... I mean, anyone who tries counting sheep and lays awake all night because they can't jump over the fence is not typical comic-page material. Or maybe he is? Other than his obvious faults, he's a typical teenage boy who likes sleeping, girls, easy work, and fishing (in no particular order.) As the first-born son, he frustrates Olie with his incompetence and laziness. Is he playing dumb or is he being sly like a fox to avoid responsibility? Even Cuss doesn't know.
