Mr. Eckelaert gleams many of his ideas from Italy, where he and his wife travel yearly to visit her family in a small mountain town along the coast of Amalfi. He has lived in several states in various parts of the country, so he has an above average talent when creating characters. Mr. Eckelaert resides in the Midwest where he was born and now lives with his wife Madeline, and their son Mark. His new hobby is restoring old motorcycles in his garage and when the oil gets too thick from the cold, he goes ice-fishing.
